Book #1 - The Sword and the Flute

The first book in the Matterhorn the Brave™ series finds Matthew Horn summoned to First Realm by the Sword of Truth. In the process, his trip through a portal instantly matures him to adulthood. In their pursuit of the sacred object, Matterhorn and the Baron come up against kidnappers, arsonists, bounty hunters, wraiths and the shadowy Bonehand. The only thing more exciting than the quest is what it leads to next!

Book #2 - Talis Hunters

In book three of the Matterhorn the Brave™ series, Matterhorn and his friends are saved from certain death and transported to the Valley of the Kings by a stranger named Elok. He and a companion named Kyl have tracked heretics from First Realm to Egypt, but they have arrived too late to stop the murder of King Tut.

      The heretics’ trail winds from the City of the Dead to the courts of Pharaoh’s Palace. It draws the Travelers into the secret tunnels beneath Karnak Temple and eventually pulls them down the Nile to the Great Pyramid, where the heretics are secretly stockpiling gold.

      The trip almost becomes a one-way journey when the Traveler’s Cube is stolen in broad daylight and assassins attack in the dead of night. Did I mention the cobras and crocodiles?

Book #4 - Jewel Heist

Book four of the Matterhorn the Brave™ series opens with the kidnapping of Princess Jewel. Matterhorn and the Baron jump into the Bermuda Triangle to save her and arrive just in time to make the lunch menu of a tiger shark. Sara the water nymph gets them safely to an island, which turns out to be the home of fierce cannibals.

      No wonder the Bermuda Triangle has such a deadly reputation!

      Holding the Princess is a heretic from First Realm who demands the Sword of Truth and the Travelers Cube in exchange for her life. The odds turn in the Traveler’s favor when Nate the Great and Queen Bea show up to help with the rescue. But a category-5 hurricane ruins their first rescue plan. Their second try leaves Queen Bea severely wounded. And their third attempt puts the entire planet in peril!

Book #5 - Dragon's Lair

After rescuing Jewel from a heretic named Etham, the Travelers chase him to China in the fifth book in the Matterhorn the Brave™ series. They wind up in the lair of Yu the dragon and are forced into an uneasy partnership. They will protect her during the upcoming dragon hunt in exchange for her help in finding the Baron’s stolen Talis.

      Etham’s trail leads to the royal court of the thirteen-year-old boy destined to become Emperor of China. Zheng wants the dragon mound for his memorial; the heretics want it for another base from which to carry out their conquest of Earth.

      Kyl and Elok arrive to help the Travelers, but one of them soon disappears and the other is killed. The same dire fate threatens Matterhorn and his friends. Only a daring deception and a quirky court jester give them any chance of survival.

Book #6 - Rylan the Renegade

Queen Bea takes the Travelers deep into the Greenland icecap to find the one man who may be able to save Earth in this sixth book in the Matterhorn the Brave™ series. Rylan the Renegade is the former Crown Prince of First Realm, but he wants nothing to do with his past; he has a more pressing problem. Erick the Red is looking for the ice caves where Rylan and his Inuit people live.

     The Baron, Jewel, Sarah, Kyl, and Elok search through the centuries for their missing friends, taking incredible risks that will leave two of them dead! Queen Bea and Rylan return to First Realm to persuade the Curia to send the elite Praetorian Guard after the heretics.

      The inevitable showdown comes when Travelers, heretics, royals, and Praetorians converge on the sealed tomb of the Chinese Emperor Zheng. The future of the human race will be determined by what happens inside this eighth wonder of the ancient world.

Book #8 - The Book of Stories

This final volume tells the thrilling conclusion of the struggle to control Earth's destiny between the heretics from First Realm and the human Travelers: Matterhorn, the Baron, Nate the Great, and Princess Jewel.

      The year is 1983. The setting id Fermilab in Batavia, Illinois; location of the most powerful machine in the world, the Tevatron particle accelerator. The heretics plan to use the Tevatron to make Carik the unchallenged ruller of the planet!

      Learning of this plot, Matterhorn and his friends must save themselves before they can save the world. And they have to do it on their own since Queen Bea and the other royals have their hands full dealing with the traitors in First Realm
